# Configure your cBook

## Introduction

The cBook settings let you configure everything about your cBook — from its name and language to its visual appearance, navigation behavior, and more. You can access the cBook settings by selecting a cBook in the Dashboard and clicking on the settings icon.

The settings are organized into six sections, accessible from the left-hand sidebar: **General**, **Design**, **Learning Groups**, **Completion Criteria**, **Publish cBook**, and **Translations**.

## Navigating the Settings

When you open the cBook settings, you'll see a sidebar on the left showing your cBook's cover image, name, and last update date. From here, you can:

-   Click any menu item to switch between settings sections
-   Click the pencil icon to jump directly to the Editor
-   Click the eye icon to open a Preview of your cBook
-   Use the "Leave settings" button at the top to return to the Dashboard

Don't forget to save your changes — click the round **Save** button (disk icon) in the top-right corner before leaving a section. If you try to leave with unsaved changes, you'll be asked whether to save or discard them.
