Release Notes – cBook Creator 7.4.0

Improved performance and stability: Creator and Player respond more smoothly.
Dark Mode: Creator and Asset Manager now also available in dark mode.
More export options: You can print evaluations of community slides or export them (in part) to Excel.
Math formulas in text: Insert formulas directly into Page Builder and display them neatly.

Better orientation when sorting: In the slide list in the cBook Editor, a subtle effect allows you to see more quickly when slide numbers change after rearranging.
Subtitles available immediately: When you select a video/asset, available subtitles are displayed directly—without having to save first.
Clearer upload rules: File names with special characters are rejected when uploading and renaming in Asset Manager (fewer problems later due to “strange” file names).
Asset Manager: More uniform look & better navigation
- More consistent appearance when working in the Asset Manager
- Easier switching between Master and cBook folders and back to the root folder
Powerspots: More secure positioning: When you move elements using drag & drop and custom CSS units are used, you will receive a warning.
Powerspots: Reorder elements – clearer process: You can now reorder elements specifically using drag & drop in the “Additional Settings” menu. This also affects the tab order and order in grids.

Community slides: Print or export evaluations
- Print evaluations for Essay Core slides or export them as Excel files.
- When exporting, you can select which learning groups should be included.
- For technical reasons, only printing is possible for community extensions.
Page Builder Text: Insert math formulas
- New “Insert Formula” button in the text editor toolbar
- Formulas are displayed correctly in Creator and Player
